Skyfall

www.facebook.com/vuepointuk

After the success of Casino Royale, and the atrocity that was Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in Skyfall. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I wasn’t sure what to expect when I sat down. Was it to follow the route of the first? Or the crumble like the second? The truth is, it does neither. It actually blows Casino Royale out of the water, and is undoubtedly one of the best Bond films to date.

So which is better? - Asylum or City?

It's been a great few years for the caped crusader. Christopher Nolan has shown Batman in a new light with his Dark Knight trilogy, and has had some incredible responses. As for the video game world, we have had the Arkham games. First we had Arkham Asylum, then Arkham City. Both games were fantastic, with brilliant gameplay, story and presentation, but I now ask...which is better?

Marvel: Avengers Assemble

And so we’ve had it. The great clash of the year. Marvel’s response to The Dark Knight Rises. Marvel: Avengers Assemble is the blockbuster of Marvel Studios, bringing together some of the best loved Marvel superheroes to fight side-by-side and stop whatever wants to conquer earth next. Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye and Black Widow, all band together under Nick Fury in order to deliver some edge-of-your-seat action that you don’t want to miss.

Prototype 2: Review

Some games are so good, that their sequels needn’t change anything but the story and a few characters to continue their run of success. Unfortunately, Prototype was not one such game. Whilst the first game was good, it quickly got repetitive, so I was hoping for something new in Prototype 2. Frankly, I was disappointed, as the sequel merely felt like an extension of the first game, rather than its own title.

Jennifer's Body

Blurring the line between chick flick and horror, Jennifer’s Body is a comedy/horror, laced with plenty of gore, action, and Megan Fox to keep the audience amused for its run time. An interesting, though unoriginal plotline and some other minor issues hold this picture back from being a top notch production, but Jennifer’s Body is an overall enjoyable movie.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition

Let me just get something out of the way. I don’t play that many Wii games, I’m not a huge fan of the console, but Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition does happen to be one of my favourite games. The story, gameplay and presentation all add up, making this a game that I have played through many times, and will be playing through many more.
