Sucker Punch: Review

Zack Snyder. A name that is associated with dark, gothic and incredibly stylish productions. Now comes Sucker Punch, the story of Babydoll. A girl, abused by her father, who is put into a mental asylum. With a group of friends, she plans to escape, but she needs a series of items in order to do it. And so the action begins. She and her associates enter an imaginary world, where finding and retrieving the items is a lot more...exciting. But can this action flick live up to Snyder’s reputation? Honestly? No.

Review: Prometheus

In 1979, Ridley Scott hit us with an instant classic. Alien is widely renowned as one of the best sci-fi horrors ever made. Since then, there have been sequels, videogames and mash-ups, such as when Alien met Predator. However, now comes the first prequel to the franchise and it packs one hell of a punch.

Change of plans

OK, I decided that leaving a week between each review is...too long, so I have decided to post one every Wednesday and Saturday...which means, the Prometheus review is going up now. Enjoy!

Catching Fire!

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to be released in November 2013. Its a long wait, but they have to give Jennifer Lawrence time to shoot the sequel to X-Men: First Class. As a fan of the books, I was happy with the way they handled the first film. Lets hope they do an equally good job on Book 2!

First thoughts

So this week I have been playing Skyrim. I can't publish a full review yet, as I know that I am far, far, far from completing it. However, so far its looking great! The graphics, gameplay and levelling up all work brilliantly! Although I have already encountered numerous bugs, including one that stopped me from completing a quest altogether. But ahh well. It's still an amazing game. Will publish a full review when I've finished!

Just Sayin'

Hi guys, just to let you know, I'm gonna try and post a new review each week. Next week is the recent Sci-Fi/Action/Horror - Prometheus. Hope you enjoy!

Also, I try my best to avoid spoilers in my reviews, but sometimes they cannot be helped, so I'd like to apologize in advance for anything along those lines :)
